Like when I'm anywhere near people, it's really hard for me to keep a straight face or keep my eyes from getting watery. I have a really hard time making eye contact, but I force myself to do it a lot. But the main feeling I get is I just feel like I'm really fearful about what their thinking about me, and try to mask those feelings.
Usually, I can hold off the tearful feeling for a while before it overwhelms me, and then when I notice people start looking at me, or sensing me when I'm behind them or something, I know I must be losing my masking ability.

let me ask you a question, are you going through some type of depression, or some stressful time right now?.....How do you feel about yourself and ur sense of worth'?...How long have you been feeling this way, and why?.....These are some of the questions i would sit down and ask myself and be truthful in answering them...then i would come up with a game plan to combat this problem....like maybe spending a certain amount of time per day outside the home around people,like...movies, shopping malls, restaurant, getting ice-cream,groc store, etc..until u develop a comfort level with urself and being around others....take a mental note of ur feelings each day....also do something important or constructive to ur well-being at least once a day, like helping others, volunteering, donating food and clothes to homeless shelters, buying a bag of dog food/supplies and donate to animal shelter, hold the door open for someone, let a driver get over in traffic..ect....
U will begin to notice a change....

It sounds like you're deeply sad about something even if you don't know what it is. I've felt the way you feel and I'm sorry, because I know it's awful.
You won't be able to hide it forever. If you keep trying to, you're going to have a breakdown of some sort sooner or later. Do you have someone close you can talk to? They need to be someone you can tell anything and everything to. It really helps to get some things off your chest. Even if you think talking about some things is 'stupid', you'll be surprised at how much better you feel by just getting it out in the open. You may find you'll be able to move on from that part after voicing it. Once you start, you'll find it easier to talk about other things.
If uncomfortable talking with someone else right now, start a diary where you don't have to candy coat your feelings. Write exactly what you feel, think, are confused about, etc. and update it daily, hourly, weekly, whatever - just try to get some insight as to what's making you feel the way you are so that you can make whatever changes necessary to help get you to where you want to be.

Sounds like you may have a really low self esteem and have little self confidence.
You don't say how old you are, but most children go through stages where they experience this. And even some adults.
Just be yourself. You have wonderful qualities and abilities, talents and strengths that some day will be what you judge yourself on.
One thing I want you to keep in mind is that you don't have to impress anyone but yourself. No one else's opinion of you matters more than your opinion of yourself. If someone puts you down, they do it from their own insecurities and frustrations. It is THEIR problem if they don't like you, not YOURS.
You don't need to mask yourself, you need to let the light inside you shine. It is the inside of a person that counts the most, not what someone looks like on the outside.

Sounds like depression to me, too. I'd want to bawl my eyes out one minute, kill somebody the next, and crawl up in a hole and hide from the world the next. Please go see your doctor and get help.
