With everyone (especially skilled workers) moving to Alberta, it seems Newfoundland is being left with students exploiting low tuition (then leaving) and older people. Will this trend ever change?

With the Spanish having raped the cod industry and the Grand Banks depleted I fear for the wonderful people of NF. If only tourism there would catch on. I swear, I've never seen such beauty and majesty of that incredible province with its inland fjords, huge mountains and people so kind and generous. It's truly an unspoiled land.

I don't think it will be. It seems like Ontario, Quebec, and British Colombia will be the prosperous provinces. Newfoundland doesn't contain any large cities. Those three provinces have cities such as Toronto, Montreal, Vancouver, Victioria, Quebec, and Thunder Bay. So my answer is no.
