Please tell someone. A teacher, the principle or even just mail a typed letter to her parents anonymously.
Cutting is a sign of a serious emotional problem. Your friend is crying out for help. I knew someone who cut himself, he said when the pain inside him got so bad, he would cut himself to release it. The physical pain was easier to focus on. He was put in counseling and put on medication.
Your friend needs your help, even if she won't appreciate it right now, someday she will.

I would talk to her parent because even if you confront her she needs professional help. If you aren't comfortable with that maybe a counselor at school. I have had two kids who were cutters and your friend is in pain so she is going to need you. Be there for her and once she is confronted about this just be there for her.I am afraid if you talk to her first she will angry with you and then you still would have to tell an adult. She will need you so I hate to see her mad at you with the feeling she has no one to turn to.

People are usually very observant about these things. How come her parents don't know ? She needs help ! Talk to her parents or any other trusted adult, This is a no win situation,
she will be mad at you if you confront her and she will be mad at you if someone you tell confronts her ! But since you are the only one that knows about this, it is your obligation as a friend to do whats right.
Good Luck !

It probably depends on your ages. If she (or you) are still minors, then yes, please go to a TRUSTED adult. She'll probably be extremely angry with you, whether you confront her yourself or ask someone else for help, but in the long run, you'll have done a good thing by hopefully getting her the help she needs.

I definately think you should report it to her parents, school councelor, or anyone who you trust. Dont worry about her feelings tward you for doing it. you should be more concerned about her safety.
