Depends what drug you're talking about they all have varying effects but something every drug does is alter your perception. From my own experiences Weed just makes you hungry and tired. LSD makes you hear things that aren't actually there, and you see everythign as if it was liquid. Shrooms are pretty intense as far as I'm concerned, they give you a serious mental high and make you ponder existence and make you think you know everything. Cocaine makes you super confident- a straight up rock star. And ecstasy just makes you love everyone you see especially your friends. It makes you wanna dance and move and feel things and smell things.

I have taken MANY meds over the years and it obviously depends on which ones, but the one thing I can tell you is that the majority of them effect you in ways that you don't even notice. Over time some effect your physical health some your mental health. You usually don't know what the consequences are until you either stop or it is to late

Alcohol--does to me what it does to everybody. No complaints there.
Ambien--puts me to sleep, fast. No complaints, either.

That's all I got for ya!
