If you want LCD, don't go for anything higher than 40" as pixels drop (pixelation) and after a few years the screen fades and isnt as colourful as first time.

Not the case with Plasma.

Also seeing its a Pioneer plasma, ive seen the adverts from yahoo!, it makes it the more better.

However , what is important that you make sure that a TV is in 1080p, very important for the future tv transmissions (although there are none planned until 2012) and if you want to get a HD-DVD player or Playstation 3.

Probably the LCD. If you play video games. If you pause it. The image gets burned into the screen. Also the plasma leaks out after a while.

The Ambilight has a gimmicky glow light witch I was told can get annoying at times but has a ok picture. my brother in law has a new Pioneer plasma....The Pioneer picture is to die for! Go with the plasma!

get the Pioneer Plasma, 1. pioneer is the best make out there for home entertainmen, 2. LCD's cannot be watched from certain angles lookin at the LCD screen!
