I had office 2003 installed on my pc and opted for a free trial of office 2007. Now the trial has expired it keeps bringing up 2007 without limited function. I just want my 2003 back. AAAARRRRGGGHHH!

Go to Add/Remove Programs and remove Office 2007.
Then place the Office 2003 disk into your computer and install.

I had the same problem but unfortunately didn't have the Office 2003 CD's (corporate copy?) to restore Office 2003. Had to buy Office 2003!

If you put your Office 2003 CD in you pc it will auto start and offer a couple of setup options--uninstall, modify, repair, or install (something like that). Just do an install or a repair of 2003. That doesn't take as long as a full reinstallation. Try it.

Hi Neil,

Go to Add/Remove and uninstall Office 2007 and start using 2003 again.

If you removed 2003 you will have to put it back on your system with your original CDs

Uninstall the seperate programs one by one, instead of the whole suite. If it loads on startup that may be tricky but you can boot in safe mode and use Ccleaner, then use the Issues tool, then the Cleaner.

To get into Safe Mode repeatedly press the F8 key after the bios screen loads but before Windows loads. You'll know if you made it because the screen will be at 800 x 600 and your pc will be slow.

Go into Add/Remove Programs and remove it. You'll probably have to reinstall 2003.
