Often its about the dress she is looking at, the food she is craving for or an outing she is lookin forward to. Often its like "NO" is never the right answer...even though that could well be the answer that is right....eg. that colour or cutting maynot suit you !!!

We do that because we like validation and to be reassured about our desisions and what we think. I always question myself about things so people like me need someone to reassure me about what i'm doing and weather it's right.

She is looking for validation, not information.
I suppose a more forthwrite way of doing it would
be to say "I am concerned about whether I look good
in this dress."
I think that would be the more masculine approach,
although ... well, maybe not on that exact topic.

sometimes we just want to be sure u think like we do or to be sure that its ok to do sth or to make us more confidante
like asking which colour...we wish u to choose the one we want just to make sure its right....or anything else...usually its nothing that we absolutely know nothing about its always something that we have an opinion about it
