I agree with you, the taste of a freshly prepared lobster is sublime. The ritual of the melted butter, the squeeze of lemon juice, and if you dare, eating with your hands rather than cutlery, its very sensual isn't it ? Appealing to all our senses...the vivid scarlet of the of the shell, the smell of the lobster with the tang of lemon, the silky feel of the butter on your fingers, the orgasmic yummy first taste and the anticipation of the next bite.MMMMMmmm.So good!

This will sound weird, & I hope there aren't any animal rights activists reading this, but my most memorable meal was Gator Bites, which was Alligator breaded like chicken nuggets. I had the meal in a hunter's restaurant in Tulsa, Oklahoma, and the place was styled like a log cabin with a bar and LOADS of taxidermied animals. The alligator was actually good, they served it with raspberry sauce, but I wasn't too comfortable eating with a stuffed moose and cougar looking at me the whole time. They also had Kangaroo and Rattlesnake on the menu, but that was going a little too far for me, lol.

Taco pizza. I'm not joking. Apparently it's a midwest thing. Every time I ever ordered one, I'd eat a WHOLE large taco pizza in two days. Whereas any other pizza, 2 slices was my limit. And I can't find them on the west coast! They call them Mexican pizzas here and they are NOT the same. I miss them so much.
Other than that, the veal I had in a lemon caper sauce from a bistro a couple months ago was simply to die for.

The most delicious thing I've ever eaten was probably my Grandmother's home-made cookies and they're so easy to make cuz you don't even have to cook them! And my most memorable meal? I would have to say. . . this spaghetti w/meat sauce that I had in some random restaurant in Rome, Italy.

Probably a European delicacy called Pita. It is dough shaped like a long tube filled with onion, pepper, and potato, then cut into pieces. Good with ketchup. That is my favourite pita, but there are other ones, for example, pita filled with cheese, or filled with spinach and feta cheese, I believe. It's awesome.

. . . there as rapidly as replaced into this thoroughly stunning, decidedly decadent, pastry with caramelized condensed milk, wipped to a just about chewable thickness mutually with finely overwhelmed pine kernels and hazel nuts lining the pastry cup stuffed with a mix of wild berries gently poach to in basic terms a sprint earlier pulpiness - in spite of the certainty that crisp and clean tasting - surely swimming in a divine cointreau souce, thickened with wild honey; and topped with the richest cream i've got have been given ever encountered, and chocolate drippings melted over all of it, sinking down into the cream topping, which I ate at a small, imprecise, coastline cafê overlooking the Atlantic ocean on a windswept day, with temperatures dropping decrease than 30 F; stated via technique of gentle guitar track, the sound of raucous seagulls battling over fish scraps alongside the small jetty; and the gentle laugther of the main appealing youthful women persons whom I had ever had the buzz of sharing a meal of crayfish, mussels and abalone on a mattress of rice - in itself as tasty a dish as one would opt to choose for! yet, regrettably, that replaced into 33 years in the previous . . . and as I make it easier to realize approximately it, i will decrease back pay interest the gentle laughter; the seagulls and the surf pounding alongside the coastline; fragrance the sea on the wind, and the cooking from the small kitchen; and style the tartness of the berries blended with the dazzling thing concerning to the caramel and chocolate, softened via technique of the cream, as rapidly as extra advantageous extra useful via technique of the cointreau . . . idyllic! Thanx for taking me down THAT memory lane decrease back!!! *Sigh* those have been stable days!!!! Ciao . . .
