Look on the package. I was disgusted to find that one package of ramen noodles has 250 calories.

Save the ramen noodles for one meal a day (if you must) and have some fresh fruits and vegetables for the others.

Adding a lightly poached fish fillet to your plate at supper, with your ramen noodles, can make it a full appetizing meal. (Use half the recommended amount of water, and let it boil away in the cooking process. You will be left with a tasty noodle side dish, that goes wonderfully with fish, meat or vegetables.)

You'll lose weight only eating them yes, BUT the loss will only be temporary! As soon as you start eating normally again the weight will come back as it will likely only be water that you lost, not actual fat.

Ramen noodles are FULL of sodium (it's where the flavor comes from!), so will make you retain water. You will be very bloated when you stop eating - the opposite effect.

AND the noodles are fried - check out the fat content on a package - it's crazy!!

Do NOT waste your time & jeopardize your health by attempting to lose weight this way. Eat a healthy, varied diet & get moving - it's the ONLY way to permanently lose weight!!

Ramen noodles are not too bad, (especially the spicy ones), but you really need more vegetables than that. If nothing else, buy the canned mixed vegetables and either mix in with the soup, or eat separately. Also, Ramen noodles are high in sodium content, so be careful in too much consumption of them.

The sodium content of ramen noodles is very high. Nobody should have more than 1 tsp of salt per day! The noodles may provide a little nutritional value but not enough for your body. I know you may want to lose weight and are looking for a quick and easy way but truth is their is no quick way! Not with these rediculous diets like the one you mentioned, not with those expensive pills which only make you lose weight temperarly. remember you didnt put on the weight in a short time so why expect to take it all off in a short time. If you are really serious about losing weight than you should do it in a sensible way and slowly. You can look up the food pyramid online for a guideline on how much of this and that your body needs in a day. I would forget the word diet and they can be depressing and cause you to gain weight. Just look at the pyramid, eat sensibly, avoid eating alot of high fatty foods or fried. No eating after 6pm. If you just must have a snack, try a peice of fruit or some air popped popcorn. cut down on your salt. Learn to eat smaller portions. Instead of eating 3 big meals a day try cutting each meal in half and have 6 smaller meals. Drink plenty of water. Stay away from sodas including diet sodas. they may cut out the sugar but their is alot of sodium in soda pop. try juices or ice tea. Crystal Light is also very good. Green tea is excellent. Cranberry juice helps fight urinary infections. Get plenty of sleep and exercise. all of this you will lose weight at a healthy rate, you will adapt your body to eating right so it will be easier to keep the weight off and you will feel better. sometimes I know those cravings will come where you just got to have pizza or chips or chocolate. Go for it but moderately meaning maybe one slice of pizza, one plain candy bar like a hersheys bar and pringles for the chips or one of the newer baked style chips. Just dont make this an every day habit.
I think because of the media and society we have become too obsessed with the whole weight issue. Yes, when weight causes us to become a health issus than we do need to lose but never with these quick weight loss gimicks. they will do you more harm than being overweight. People who lose weight at a very fast pace also lose tissue and muscle mass which we all need. some practically starve themselves and work out excessivly to the point of colapse. when will folks realize that first and most important is to be happy with yourself on the inside where it counts. If you arent happy with yourself than wether you are thin or plump wont matter anyway.
Spring and summer seem to be the best times to lose weight because the weather is better and we all want to be outdoors doing things. Plus you can barbeque which is an excellent way to cook. Try out new recipes. Make fruit smoothies for dessert.

Good luck

You'll probably lose weight, but you'll also lose your sense of taste. I lived on Ramen noodles in college whenever my meal card ran out. They're not bad if you buy some veggies like carrots and celery and mix it in. I wouldn't recommend eating them all the time, because they're low on protein and high on starch and sodium.

Depends on the QUANTITY of ramen noodles you consume daily; if it's just one package three times per day, you'll lose weight and also be malnourished because you will not get adequate nutrition eating nothing but carbs.

well ramen noodles aren't like a humongous pack of carbs and calories, but they're not that good to your health. the flavoring packets are full of sodium and msg and the noodles are fried before being packaged...so consider yourself warned

Ramon noodles have 6 grams of fat per serving and i believe there are 2 servings to a pack so that would be how many servings you eat x 6 you do that math from there its alot of grams a fat in one day. You need to cut down on fat grams. It didn't work for me.
