I met his person over the Internet, and we saw once in person. He looks nice BUT he invited over to a hot tub place...
Am I over reacting when I worry or this is just a "normal" date/place to go to?

Bringing a friend alongwith you is NOT the way for adults to date. If you hate or feel uncomfortable with the hot tub idea, I suggest you talk to him about it & see if you can choose a more common place.

A hot tub is NOT a normal first date. He wants to get laid. I bet if you suggest dinner and a movie he will try to convince you the hot tub is a better idea.

A hot tub is not a normal 2nd date. Sorry. But trust your instincts. Sounds like you don't dig the idea. And if you feel the need to bring a friend along then you definitely don't feel comfortable.

Be careful...this sounds like it could get out of hand very quickly. I'm not a prude by any means, and I love hot tubs (I have no problem with being naked in them, whether alone or with others), but I've never heard of a public hot tub place, unless it's a spa that has such facilities. It's not like you'll be getting naked with him, but it still raises some concerns about where he might be taking this.

I personally would be concerned, as you will be dressed a little bit compromised. Is this normal for a first date? Yea, is this person looking for one thing only? Really, really, be careful your safety is up most important. Is this hot tub place where there will be a lot of others? Open area with staff?

I've never heard of a public "hot tub place" but if that's what it is then ok. The fact that you are even questioning it, shows that you are uncomfortable. I would tell him that you are uncomfortable and can you meet somewhere else. If he disagrees then he's not worth it anyway. Shame on him. :P

Good luck and have a great day!

It depends, where is the hot tub place. If it's at his place I wouldn't go but if it's elsewhere like a remotely public place then fine. If you really like him then try to convince him to go somewhere else, if you're not comfortable.

There was a warm bathtub place someplace in l. a., yet that became years in the past. have you ever finished a google seek? And dude, pay attention for herpes. i'm no longer kidding. continually sit down on a towel, ideally one you deliver your self.

That is not a great first date place. Tell him you'd rather not, he will either be very sorry he made you uncomfortable or he is a sleaze.
