Its weird but millions of people are doing it. Look at me, I am talking to you and you could be some pervert. See how it works. You just need to be very careful not to give out any personal information to people you have never seen.

Personally I do not like online chat rooms. First of all because there are a lot of little kids on there saying they are much older than what they really are, and they could get into some trouble by doing that. If you are going to get involved with the chat rooms, just be careful and watch what you say to people. Don't ever give out any personal information. But also remember, strangers are just friends waiting to happen.

most people go to chat rooms to meet new friends, so its ok to chat with someone oyu dont know.
Just make sure you never give out Any private information .
chat rooms about sports or events are ok, but stay away from Romance rooms online. Way too many predators out there

All it takes is a little bit of smarts to avoid the scary folks.

I met my boyfriend online. I only saw one picture of him before we met. That was three and a half years ago. We are still together, and we plan on marrying.

When I was meeting people online, I met a good number of freaks. I simply made it a point to be cautious and not provide the people I was wary of any information that would lead them to me.

I just met somebody that I knew from thos singles websites...we met in person to see how we looked and if we clicked. We wnet to a pubic place during day light, and that was fun. Now I think we like each other more, we could talk and see each other in the eye. I just think is very risky, but a couple of friends who are now married met in one of those places..

I honestly think there shouldn't. Even if you are just chatting, you give away soooo much about yourself by that. And most people have no concept of online safety, and will tell the person they are chatting with anything and everything about themselves! Overall, it is NOT safe. I do not support it at all.

I think online chat rooms are just fine as long as you're not sharing personal information.

no harm in it if you are not married and are single. I don't talk or go into any chatrooms anymore i am happily married now and the only person i enjoy talking to and spending my time with is my husband.
