Is it nail-eating? Is it nose-poking? Is it chewing food loudly?
Or is it something else?

I'd vote for chewing food loudly. That'll drive me out of the room every time.

Nose picking and similar habits spread germs, the knuckle cracking, chewing food loudly, etc don't really affect other people directly. Smoking around other people has to be the worst, because the smoke is the most harmful of all.
I may not like every habit but hey, other people may not like everything about me. As long as it doesn't truly hurt anyone, live and let live..

Anger. The habit of deciding to get angry when something happens. Remember, another person can NEVER "make" you angry... anger is a response we choose, to circumstances we can not control. Choose to shake it off and go about your business, instead of choosing to get angry and have your blood pressure spike and perhaps do something you'll regret later!

I'd say crack. But between those choices, chewing loudly is pretty nasty.
