I don't tip the electrician in the Home Depot for his expert help in preventing me from frying myself in my home project. Therefore I do not tip someone who pours me a cup of coffee (I also find the jar annoying)

I guess you can tip anywhere.
If it is a counter-service business, I don't tip.
Restuarnts, sure, if it isn't a buffet. I don't tip at buffets, why would you, you serve yourself.
I am rather surprised they have a tip jar on the counter at a Dunkin Donuts, I don't see any at Subway, Burger King, McD, Wendy's, ...etc. And all they have is donuts.
tell your husband to watch them closely, if they are glaring at him they may spit on his donut.

I think your husband should tell the regional manager that because of some snot-nosed moronic punk teenager, not only will you never go to that store, you'll never go to Dunkin Donuts again. Tell them thanks for creating a culture that cares more about these self-important moronic twits than the customers. Tell them Crispy Creams are way better anyways. Then tell them to f*ck off.

I would say no tiping at those establishments. I've seen those in some Starbucks as well, and most of the time those people behind the counter are so rude.

I think if they want a tip they should do something to deserve it.
