Like and love...
well the perfect person for marriage would contain both of these characteristics... but there is a difference in the meanings...
like is just a form of attraction...u might feel a crush for them or some form of admiration. U think that they hav a great personality and may be interested in getting to know them...
Love is the feeling that u know things about a person but u want to know more abt them....u can never know enough..they become ur life. u cant live without them and wouldnt want to imagine trying...there is a sense of caring abt the person..wanting to be part of their lives...one important aspect is that u know what is wrong with their character but u feel that u can adjust ur life to their lives...
Does that clarify the differences? Hope so... :D

When you find the person you both love AND like, that is the person you should marry. There are different kinds of love. You can fall into romantic (thrilling) love with anyone you think is "hot." That doesn't mean you know them or like them, you are just sexually attacted to them. You can love your mother or your sister and want to protect them and take care of them, but that's not the same kind of love, is it? If you like a woman's character, personality, and outlook on life, and you love her enough to want to be with her a protect her, and you want to have sex with her, THAT is the person you should marry. You'll have it all.

I like plenty of people. I like one of my co-workers because he's attractive and easy to flirt with. But there's no way in hell I'd date the guy. We have nothing in common.
My boyfriend and I have something much deeper, almost inexplicable. It's a deep love that cannot be duplicated in any situation.
Hope that helps.

When you love a person That person is always in your mind, There the first thing you think of when you wake up and the last thing before you go to sleep.. When you see them you get butterflies in th pit of your stomach.. when they smile they make you want too smile to.. You think there perfect even if your friends and family thing there not!
When you like them it's like a little crush sorta thing.. You see them and you feel happy of seeing them. but it's not the same if you love the person.. When you like them you feel attractive to them, & you like there company.. When you kiss the person you love you feel that magic..you feel like you have the world in you hands but when you kiss the person you like you feel.. well you feel a kiss but that magic isn't there...
Well I hope I could help.. I hope you understood what i told you.. =]

someone you like: you want to be with him for a short period of time. you don't have major feelings for him. feeling he'll reject you. physical attraction and/or emotional attraction
