A level 10 is as light as you can lift your hair, which is what Christina Aguilera is. Platinum blonde is done in 2 steps called a double process blonde. First you pre-lighten the hair to the desired level (10), then you tone to the desired shade. With platinum blondes you would use a violet to counteract all the yellow tones that may still be in the hair. Platinum is a process that I recommend you going to a professional for. Good luck.

They use bleech, around 12% which is VERY strong. unfortunatly, in order to keep the color and prevent black roots coming in, they need to get it touched up every month which costs a lot, best to stick with light bleech! Strong bleech can burn your hair, cause your hair to fall out if hairdressers leave it on too long, and its a hell of a lotta money!

She has it professionally discolored with peroxide, and then colored with the lightest shade of platinum blond on the market. If you're thinking of getting that hair color, have a professional do it for you. Of course, then you'll have to go in once a week to touch up the roots.

they get it bleached over and over again
, but dont go there because thats why christina had all her hair cut off because it got that dryed out it strted falling out and leavin her out with bald patches. keep it simple

by getting a professional to create the perfect colour for them, i watched this show about lindsy lohan and it said it took 9 weeks to create the best shade of blonde for her skin tone but it cost a fortune too!!!

It's commonly bleached or dyed. This is not their common hair color. As one person said, they drink lots of milk...... That's not true!
