portion control, and light exercise.
first you must control what, and how much you put in your body. if you can control your eating habits, very little exercise is needed to get into, or stay in shape.

If you want to lose weight the natural way at home, there are some good healthy ways, by changing your diet you can eat your way to being thinner! I am working on it myself and have lost some unwanted lbs! One way is to cut out sweets from your diet and for me, it has been any kind of chocolate, and other sweets!
The next thing I have been doing is to eat more grains and fiber!
There are some cereals on the market that are advertising on the front of the boxes that they will help to lose weight.. such as, Special K and Grape Nuts... among a few others! Any time you eat whole wheat fiber, you will be eating a healthy grain that will give you energy as well as promote good digestion... It will also help you because there are 0 carbs in whole wheat grains... I know of a good cabbage soup diet that is also full of vegetables and can be used to aid in a healthy weight loss regimen! It will work if you are seriously comitted to doing this daily along with a good exercise plan! You cannot really do one without the other!
Even if it means just walking up and down the stairs for 15 min.
This kind of dietary program along with exercise is just as good as you are willing to make it, but it doesn't happen overnight..you will notice a few pounds coming off each week, but it cannot be done too quickly... as with any other type of weight loss program it should be done gradually... in order to maintain your health.. 2- 3 pounds a week is a good plan... if you try to lose too much too fast it could make you physically ill and you could end up in a dr. office!

I'm a 33 year old male. when i was in the 11th grade I weighed 240. I got tired of being the fat boy, so when school let out for summer, I started jogging (4 miles a day). I would eat a mixture of boiled cabbage, onions, and potatoes. apple and a small orange juice for breakfast, jogging, and the cabbage stuff for dinner. then i would do 3 sets of twenty pushups, situps, and curl a 20 pound weight. which eventually turned into about 20 sets of all that per day after jogging. then i'd go to the park and play basketball for an hour or 2 per day on top of all the other stuff. anyway, 3 months into my senior year i weighed 180, but was really pale, because apparently you can't live on just cabbage. but i looked good, and felt good, and started getting girlfriends. Cabbage is good for weight loss. and apples. and orange juice. 240 to 180 in about 6 months. But that's back when i was your age and had a metabolism.

I've tried many diets and couldn't make anything work. Since having my first child, I've been carrying around an extra 30 pounds. This diet just made sense and showed me that everything I was doing before was wrong and a waste of my time.

The plan was so refreshing and so simple to follow. I did everything plan said and lost 23 pounds in the first three weeks. I'm now starting the diet again to lose 7 more pounds. This plan has changed my life.

Get started today!

If you really serious about losing weight, I agree with the less time consuming workouts. The best thing for you is to perform workouts that kick your butt within 45 minutes time. I'd love for you to read this article by Craig Ballantyne. He's an expert at how to reduce weight in a short period of time.

Basically it is very simple.

1) Eat less carbo and more protein.
2) Cut the amount of fats you take in.
3) Run up the stairs instead of waiting for the lift.
4) Run or go by bike for short distances instead of taking motors.
5) When you aren't doing much, keep shaking & jumping & running.

Stop eating before you become sated...

In otherwords, leave the table hungry.

Easiest way to do it, take 2/3 of your usual load, and don't return for seconds.
