Yes, all of them do.
Any Non-Microsoft Browser calls favorites 'Bookmarks'.
The first time you use Firefox or other browsers, it will ask you if you want it to transfer your favorites from IE.

I would recommend that you use Firefox. It is fast, stable, customizable, and secure. You can get it a t http://www.mozilla.org

Jim ... Yes, as stated in the first answer you received, all the browsers have the "favorites" function. However, everyone other than Microsoft calls this function "Bookmarks."

I want to say a little more about Firefox: It's rapidly gaining popularity because it's generally considered less buggy and was more secure than Internet Explorer (IE). IE needed to come out with an entirely new version before they began to catch up to Firefox's security. However, I must admit that a few web page developers have designed their web pages in ways that will require IE; these are very few, though.

Also, about Firefox, I believe it's the only mainstream browser that includes a built-in spell checker. As I'm typing this in the text entry box, if I misspell a word, Firefox underlines it in red and suggests the correct spelling.

Here's something about Opera that might mean a lot to you. If you've got multiple tabs open, Explorer will "tile" them for you and you can see all the tabs at the same time. However, with Opera, the view of each tab is functional ("alive," so to speak) and you can easily copy and paste from one tab to another. I don't think any of the other browsers can do that within one instance of the browser.

One last thing: I have all the mainstream browsers ... Netscape, Firefox, Explorer (my least favorite, but I admit being prejudiced), and Opera. They all come in handy for one reason or another. Good luck, Jim.

Yes. Every browser has one of those. Sometimes they're called something else, though - in Firefox, for example, they're called "Bookmarks".

Many browsers even have a function that allows you to easily import Internet Explorer Favorites, so you can keep using them should you decide to switch browsers.

(I recommend Firefox, btw - fast, stable, easy, and highly functional. Also free. You can get it at http://www.mozilla.org)

Yes they do.

In both Opera and Firefox, they are called Bookmarks.

In Opera you can also easily import Favorites from IE or Bookmarks from Firefox in Opera, by going to File, Import and Export.

Yes. Actually,Firefox has the best designed favorites function called 'Bookmarks'. It's easy to organize and manage your bookmarks. When installing firefox, it will give you an option to import all your favorites from internet explorer to its bookmarks automatically.
