What is she spotting???If it is blood your dog can be in heat. She will be in heat for 3 weeks...so you need to keep a good eye on her. She is way to young to be having puppies. My concern here is when you said she could be pregnant but you don't know. I am just wondering how come you don't know. Your dog, by the looks of it is in heat..Keep a very close eye on her for three weeks. Do not let her have puppies until she is two years old and a good health record from your vet.

Why do you say she may or may not be pregnant? You haven't bred a dog that young have you? If you haven't it sounds more to me like she is in heat. And you would never breed a dog that young. Sounds like you need to have her spayed. It will cost a bit more if you do it now but if you wait you need to be absolutely sure she is not around any males. Even when let out to pee, it only takes a minute of not being watched. Small dogs come in heat earlier than larger dogs usually.

Sounds like she's in heat. Take her to the vet to check but if you don't want her to have pups (and you shouldn't when she's only 6 months) then keep her indoors away from male dogs until she has stopped bleeding. Check with the vet (or online) to see how long it usually lasts.

Sounds like she's in her first heat. Slap a diaper on her and pen her up if she's a breeder. If she's not a breeder, spay her now!!

it sounds like shes haveing a period like any human female. if you dont want her breeding then take her to the vet to have her spade.
