Yes I currently use WinRAR to do it...
I'd like it so that I can burn a cd, but to view what is on the CD you need to enter a password. I have a method where I keep a zip with a simple password, containing a text with a pass of 63 random char. Then I use that to make rars with.

You can set a password when you Zip your files.
Then you can burn the zipped files onto a disc.
Anyone who wants to unzip those files will have to first enter the password!
This is the only way I know, but would appreciate any other way!

This Will work, i have done it before. Make A new Folder on the desktop (DONT WORRY YOU WILL DELEATE IT). put all the "Items" In That folder. .

Now Go To The Web And Go To
http://www.win-rar.com/download.html

When Downloaded And Installed go back to the desktop and Right click on the item and select Add To Arcive, When A Block Pops Click Advanced And Find A Button Called Set Password and insert password. Then Click ok.

It will save on the desktop, then coppy on to the cd That simple
