Yes, some witches do practice contact with spirits. If you want to contact spirits, you need to prepare well for it. Remember that not all spirits are friendly. Ok.

Many people have different experiences on the human connection and the spiritual connection. Some people have been know to contact the dead through dream interpretations. Some through hypnotic trances. Some through rituals. During the time of All Hollows Eve is when the connection is at it's strongest point. There are so many different ways that a person can make contact their ancestor spirits; which come when and if they choose to do so. Each contact that I've ever had was uniquely different.

I would imagine you do it in a similar way as channeling a God or Goddess, but ghosts, i don't know about them, apparently they are lost souls or spirits that have some 'mission' of some sort. I normally command spirits to do my bidding's, but I have only once actually 'communicated' with a spirit. I'm still a bit of skeptic since i believe the mind is a creation tool by itself, but lately I've been working with demons, and boy, it gets scary enough to kill all forms skepticism...
(btw: for the way for those who believe 1 god created everything. If one god created all things, everything is a manifestation of that god's will including all demons and spirits. So, all things are of god. You cannot separate creation if it is all created by the same source. If anything is 'evil' then the creator is also 'evil'. You cannot create something without giving it your thought and energy , especially if you are all-knowing. Witches and sorcerers do not believe in the bible for obvious historical reasons .

Witches contact demons posing as spirits of those who have passed on. Spirits of humans do not wonder around in another dimension lost or waiting to get to their destination after death. The enemy - satan and his demons - would like for us to believe that there is uncertainty after death by using one's creative imagination and taking that as far as one will go. My advice to you is stay away from experimenting with this world of darkness - it will suck you in before you know it. I have seen people get caught up in this and the outcome is not pretty...lives are ruined. That presence you sense is testing you to see if you are committed in faith to God...do not give this presence any room to work with doubt that God exists. I am not a preacher. I know from experiencing the same thing you describe and from others who chose to experiment with the these things not of God.

General H - if sh's a witch she don't beleive that jesus is god so she don't give a damn.
- Yes you can contact spirits but don't expect the kind of thing you see in movies and no, don't use a ouiji board because that is just stupid. Don't forget to cast a circle though, and if this is your first spells or if it's one of your first make sure you have someone there. AND - don't listen to anyone who says 'only through satan' they don't know anything. Wiccans don't beleive in satan .. unless your satanic then you can also contact spirits through him . think. Also there is nothing wrong wit being Wiccan, Pagan OR Satanic

Go to a reputable teacher and learn or leave it alone. It's dangerous toying with minds that are stuck in the formless realm for whatever reason. The MAIN reason they're in the formless realm is because something in their minds kept them stuck there and it's not always just because of something benign... and if you can't discern why you're putting yourself in danger. Only well trained minds can do such a task, and it's dangerous even for THEM.

In the old testament, there is a real witch, who raises a prophet from the dead,,,,,,,,,,,,,, I think his name was Samuel. But she had been tricked by the person who asked her to do this and for the life of me, I can not remember his name.
However, the bible speaks very strongly that you shouldn't do such things whether it be successful or not. It is a sin. There are a lot of people these days who claim to speak on behalf of the dead or spirits and from what I can tell is that 99% of them are total fakes,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, like that woman who is always on the MONTEL SHOW.

it doesnt matter that you are a witch ... if you are a medium then you can contact spirit ... but ghosts are not conscious so they would not communicate
perhaps read up on mediumship , get to know whats what

There are several problems with your question.
a) You are not a witch. You are stupid, witches don't exist. The most you can be is a dumb-*** satanist
b)The presence - try closing the window or taking some indigestion tablets.
c)The dream - stay off a bit from dope, Red Bull or whatever you are taking - it makes you see things
