highly unlikely on the above since during lojack installation, they dont even want u to look where they put it. if they were to stuff it into a shipping container, they wouldnt be able to get a signal out from it being surrounded by steel. solid concrete might also, but they would have to have it virtually surrounded like a bunker.

If your car is nabbed by an expert professional car thief, they probably already know the likely places that the system may be hidden and will have deactivated it before you're even aware that it was stolen. If a seasoned pro wants your car, even Lojack won't protect it.
