My VCR is hard-coded to switch to Daylight Saving Time on the first Sunday in April. Now that George Bush has signed an executive order making DST starting on March 11, my VCR will be off an hour for three weeks. Will he or his designated agent program the shows I want to tape at the correct time?

I'm hoping the Great Gazoo from The Flintstones shows up and with the snap of his fingers makes all things clock dependent convert three weeks early.

Otherwise we'll all be living on Bush time for the meantime.

No, you have to do it..
But be sure to turn off the automatic DST feature so it doesn't go ahead on the old switchover date.
