Rags! Soft strips of cloth, wrap/roll a section of hair and twist and tie. Softer on the head and the curls are magnificent. Or twist a section and pin it with bobby pins for the old fashion pin-curls. Those big plastic root clips can be used to hold twists of hair for softer curls but you can't sleep in those. Velcro rollers are easy too and come in various sizes and lengths. Both the latter can be used on dry hair with a little hairspray for a quick fix.

Right i think your best bed would be curling irons but hey .. i no a way u could krimp it wash it as usual and then whilst its still wet plait it and leave it to dry naturally that would krimp it or you could for curls 'Rag it' its wear you get like rags anythink .. ;socks;Kitchen Rooll;Rags And Start @ the bottom of the hair and then twist the hair around it to the top but then leaving like enuff edge on teh sides so you can tie them and then just tie them and leave them in and then when you take them out itl be curly just dont brush it .. brush it before you rag it /GOOD LUCK x

Curls Rock Curl Booster by TIGI (Catwalk) - it is a spray that works fabulous. And it is a lot less greasy than using a lot of gel. If you only have gel, try using a little (dime size) on wet hair. It will take out the frizz and minimize the grease factor.

Have you tried a little bit of curl enhancer with a diffuser? That works for alot of people. If your hair is naturally pin straight, you will have to get a perm. I dont recommend it. This messes up your hair for life.

The best thing to do i would have to say is take a shower then when you get out brush your hair once then put some mousee in it to give it some bounce then put some hair spray in it and make sure you put it through out all your hair otherwise it will just get all frizzy.

I had mine straightened and it's lasted for a year, I never had to have it straightened again. I also let it grow out, so it's not as curly, and just a little wavy, but it's better than it was.
