It doesn't matter, really. By the time the first kiss has sent me reeling, they're already taking back their word, and plotting my heartbreak.

Usually, I like to have a lasting relationship. I had one for a year and a half and it's over. I found out just how much of a cheap skate he was and I sure wouldn't want to marry someone that is that way when you are still dating. He said that his longest before me was 10 months and that should have told me something. The only problem is that I have a son that is getting older and smarter and I don't want him to think I am a tramp dating one person one night and another the next. We are getting only older and I am definately not wanting to grow old by myself. But I want someone who my kid likes and treats him good first and fore-most and somebody that I have things in common with that I can talk to. You know what they say: Marry somebody with good conversational skills because when you get old that's all you've got left! LoL!

Nope. I subscribe to the slow steady pace. If it moves to the next level.....great. If it doesn't then the complications are minimized.

No because they may not feel the same way about you and if that is the case then it just wouldn't work.
