When you look at Christianity as a whole beliefs are important. Behavior is definitely important. And it can be emotional. However, Christianity as a whole deals primarily with one's relationship to God and with other people.

Behavior.
That is true for Christianity as a whole. Unfortunately, the squeaky wheel gets the grease, and those who are unfamiliar with Christianity often assume that the belligerent missionary standing outside the Wall-Mart speaks for Christianity as a whole. In any other context the minority is not considered an accurate representation of the majority - but not so in religion. If you compare numbers per capita, blaming Christianity for the Inquisition is like blaming New York City for the Son of Sam murders.
Among some Protestant denominations, belief and emotion are more important that behavior. But try explaining that to members of the worlds largest and oldest Christian denominations and they will look at you like you're crazy.
As for the diagreements - ask the same question during prime-time, and have everyone tell you their official denomination.

Christianity is a whole. It is a form of religion. Christianity is a belief that I was brought up on. When you accept Jesus in to your heart, you have to change the way you behave. You are emotionally connected with Him. When you cry during a church service this is The Holy Spirit cleansing your soul. He is touching you. Christianity is a religion of fellowship and worship. Fellowship is where you meet other Christians and worship The Lord.

For me, it's not about emotions at all. It's about what I believe and how I try to live by those beliefs.
As a whole, I think it is centered around belief, and the rest follows as a result. If someone really believes, they will live their lives accordingly.

The very groundwork of Christianity is faith. Romans 4:3 says, "Abraham believed God, and it was credited to him as righteousness (right standing before God).
Faith is what escorts you into Christianity. (See John 3:16).
The conviction that God is who He says He is, and that He will do what He says He will do is Christian faith.
Then follows behavior. The first behavior of Christianity is to actively accept Christ as Savior and Lord. From there a process of developing behavior pleasing to Christ should follow (See Galatians 6:7).
And since we are created as emotional beings, we will naturally have feelings in response to our faith and behavior. Galatians 5:22 mentions some of the emotions we can experience as children of God (i.e. joy, peace, etc.)
God bless you in your journey.

For me it is about my faith in Jesus Christ and that he does exist, he is every thing to me in my life. I don't need some one to tell me that he is with me, I have both seen and felt his presents in my life through his works. I don't need to see him to know that he exists, all I need do is look at my life and what he has done for me.
It's also about behavior, doing that which I know is right in God's eyes. Doing right because it makes me feel good as a person to be the way the Lord wants me to be.
Yes, it can even be emotional for me at times, over whelming to know how much he love me. I feel God's love for me, he is always a constant in my life. It's over whelming to know that he loves us so much, to know just how blessed we really are because of him.
I know that with out him I'm nothing, also I know that he is all that we as people will ever need in our lives. I wouldn't even want to try to make it in this world with out Jesus Christ, as I know that I wouldn't last. He does every thing for us. There is nothing on this earth that is more important than Jesus Christ. Every thing that is on this earth will eventually be eaten by the moths/rust or it will rot away, so that we can not build our treasures on this earth.
