Yes. It is possible.
First, install windows XP. Leave empty partition for opensuse about 30 GB. Windows can use the 50GB partition.

After installing windows, install OpenSuse to empty partition. Create new partition for linux swap about 2 to 2.5 GB, and the rest (27.5GB partition) for root.

I twin booted abode windows XP with abode windows 8 CP. How I did it replace into downloaded it as a ISO and put in it on a distinctive partition, then I used EasyBCD to regulate the boot. i'm incredibly effective in case you boot the abode windows DVD from bios, you are able to opt for the partition you prefer. yet you will could make certain you have a partition to apply!

Easily possible. I have xp and suse running on a vaio laptop.
Install XP first, then reboot from suse cd/dvd, it will recoment partition sizes but you can alter them if you wish depending on which os you intend to use most. Suse will also install a boot loader to allow you to chose which to boot to each time.

Depends how serious you are on either o/s. I'd split it 50/50, 40GB each is plenty of room.
