Why don't Christians have equal rights in Muslim countries like Egypt and Saudi Arabia?

There Is a big problem with the point of view of your question. Under Muslim (Islamic rule) all people have always had equal rights. This has been true since Mohammad wrote and spoke his words and his loyal followers interpreted them so liberally. Under Sharia law every person has the right to 1."convert to Islam", 2. pay taxes so high that they cannot live a normal life (and be persecuted in the meantime) or 3. "die". So just look at the options and chose the one that best suits you. First, study history. It is all written down, folks. Before you believe in a peaceful Islamic religion, please know what was done when Moslem hordes conquered most of the then known world. Look at how they treated their own sects for slight differences in interpretations or familial relations. People and tribes massacred, Imams overthrown and eyes burned out (great people), women always repressed, anything or anyone that dared enlighten and educate individuals eradicated. And look at the countries today that live under his law: backwards, repressed, brainwashed, economically viable only due to the accident of petroleum being found in their geographic area.
Unfortunately for all concerned, Islam, no matter what good parts it has that advocate peace and good morales, etc is a religion that unabashedly devotes itself, and demands that all its followers dedicate themselves, to making everybody Islamic. When they are in power, if you won't convert, they will kill you. You are only tolerated when you are too strong for them to show their true colors. When Islam controls the whole Earth there will be 'peace'............... Mohammad said that and wrote that.
I have a better idea, bury Islam. I said that.

The same reason why muslims dont have equal human rights in other countries. If you go to any airport & you are a muslim e.g UK & USA - you are ill treated & falsely accused of being a terriorist, come on they even accused Yusuf Islam of being a terriorist. So before you Judge Muslim countries , take a look at some of tthe western countries, how they are making life for muslim people impossible. Saudi Arabia is a 90% muslim population, in any country majority rules, take South Africa foe example thier are more blacks in South Africa, so thier votes on something always out numbers the minoritys , The same in Saudi Arabia - there are more muslims , so the muslim peoples votes will always out number the christians. Like most christian people always say : If muslim people cant live in the western countries then they must move back to thier muslim countries & i would say the same applies to christian, move to the USA or Uk , if you cant accept the rules & laws of the muslim countries.

Why don't gays have equal rights in the USA which is suppposed to be the most progressive nation in the world? Why is Canada more progressive than the US in this regard? Among other countries.

Oh yeah that's right, because Christians are fighting to keep gay people from having the the right to marry.

Lots of religions dont have equal rights in other countires. However the US is supposed to have freedom of religion and more freedoms in general than anyone else, yet look how the Christians fight to keep them from having equal rights.

So excuse me if i don't feel sorry for the Christians, who feel it's their duty to convert everyone and tell everyone who doesn't convert that they are damned to hell. Oh Poor Christians. Christians who go into poor third world countries not to help people out of the kindness of their hearts but to convert them and scare the hell out of them with their threats of eternal damnation simply because they follow their own traditions and beliefs.

They Do have rights, In Egypt, Christians started a religious conflict, so the Copts are secluding themselves from the community.

In SA, No one complained, they have as much rights as any Muslim.
