Recon is short for Reconstructionist religion.
Asatru is the reconstructed religion of the old norse people and Kemetic the ancient egyptian religion.

Sorry Bobby, I've never heard the term "recon religion" before. Could you add some detail? I'm interested to know more.
Edit Ah okay I was thinking reconnaisance.
Druidry is a reconstructionist religion.
There are other Celtic reconstructionist paths as well.
