When a person is loosing weight, how is the fat eliminated from the body?

the lipids from fat cells get metabolized and converted into ATP. ATP is the cellular energy source that is used for all muscular contractions

My experience is water helps flush it out of the body..so drinking the recommended 6-8ounces glasses is not an old wives tale. You are supposed to exercise to help lose weight faster. That changes the fat into muscle which may weigh heavier, but is more healthy. You asked how fat is eliminated..well..once you have fat cells..your body remembers them and if you eat fatty foods..that energy will change right back to fat cells. So, to keep slim, you should keep drinking the water, exercise for muscle, and watch that you are not adding any trans-fats to your diet.
