I have a Funai WV 20V6 DVD/Video Recorder. Transferred videos to DVDs--tried 2 different brands DVD+R. These will play on the Funai recorder and on my Dell laptop, but will not play on my Panasonic DVD/VCR Deck PV-D4761. Should I use a different DVD medium. All help will be appreciated.

The DVD+R was finalized, but would not play on the Panasonic.

I have to record on DVD-R to get mine to work and recognize the
DVD

If you haven't yet "Finalized" the DVDs after having finished recording them, they are unlikely to play on other DVD players.
Once they have been Finalized (check instruction manual that came with your Funai recorder for how to do this), you should be able to play the discs on any DVD player.
