I live in apartment by myself, so the table isn't that grand. My style is very "rich" looking with lots of deep colors and plants. I always keep a placemat and napkin with ring on the table...still looks like its missing something. What do you think?

You only keep one placement and napkin and ring on the table??

I would have two or four. That would help.

For winter I always like a bowl of cinnamon pine cones and tuck in the nooks and crannies the color of silk flowers you want. It makes a room freshener and a centerpiece and can be changed easily for spring, soon. You can get flowers at the dollar store since you are going to cut them off to make short wires.

Good Luck, your place sounds great.

You could always use a group of different sized pillar candles sitting on a plate filled with river rocks or deco sand. The look can vary depending on the color & number of candles, size of the plate & river rocks or deco sand. Plus when you have a special guest over, all you have to do is light the candles to put a romantic feeling in the air.

A pretty bowl with some greenery in it (you can get some good real looking greenery at most craft stores). Then in the middle of the bowl put some fruit...either real fruit or plastic/shiny fruit...the plastic fruit that looks real...also found at most craft stores like Garden Ridge or Michaels.

I shop often at www.petals.com. They make and sell silk flower arrangements. They also send out catalogs. Their floral arrangements are very real looking.
It is also a good place to shop for wedding, Christmas and birthday presents.
