They ignore the contradictions and they can't give you any proof that its real. Thats the problem with their belief, its not based in fact, its based in "I think its so". I can think the sky is purple polka dots too but that doesn't make me right.
They can't see the forest through the trees.

I wasn't aware that there were contradictions in the bible. Can you specify?
Many Christians believe that Scripture interprets itself. Only the Word of God could remain so constant over such a long period of time.
We accept on faith (which we believe comes from God) that the Bible is the Word of God. We don't have "proof" per se. I won't try to shove it down your throat, though, as I'm sure many of my fellow Christians will. But I'll be happy to respectfully answer whatever questions you have and respect what you decide to believe for yourself, whether or not you agree with me.

Do you actually KNOW of any contradictions in the Bible? Because this is an agelong debate where, inevitably time after time, favor tips massively to the side of proof that there are no contradictions...you just do not have all the info. That is not an insult or a belittling please do not take it that way. There is A LOT of info you must collect before you can see that there are no contradictions.

There are many things difficult to understand; some need studying to find the answers to. Contradictions? Nooooooooooo!

It declares that it is God's word. No other so called sacred book makes this claim.
It has no contradictions, only people who do not understand Greek and Hebrew or Biblical History see certain details that they do not understand as contradictions.

Friend, show me any contridiction in the bible, I hear all this so call contridiction people like you complain about, & I have been serving God for 37 yrs. & I have never found one thing that contridicts anything. To you it may look like it does, Because you don't have that Holy Ghost spirit which will lead us into all truth, & that Holy Ghost is our teacher. With all the books in my 57 yrs. on this earth that I have read, The Bible has sustained me through all things while all the other books failed.

They don't, they manage to explain it all with what they call "faith" even if they haven't the slightest bit of proof!
Seems to me if Jeebus was the human incarnation of God, that God doesn't much care for anyone outside the region that Jeb was born into... Not even a visit to, or maybe a bible in their language? (Africans, Asians, Indigenous Australians/Americans, Pacific Islanders etc)

There are no contradictions in the Bible if you know the whole story......
The ones you see, you create in your own head
