My girlfriend of 3 months broke up with me a little over a week ago. It wasn't an ugly split, she just said she wasn't happy (I personally think she was really stressed out with work and school and I caught the brunt of it, but we did have our problems). Now all of a sudden she sent me an email forward, nothing too meaningful, just a silly joke, which wasn't even something that you would read and think "I HAVE to send this," and I was the only one she sent it to (and keep in mind, she NEVER forwards any emails). Could this mean she's still thinking about me and maybe trying to get back in touch? We just met one night and I asked her out, we were never "just friends." If so, how should I proceed? I would think send her a joke or something next time I get one and then let her call me or write me if that's what she really wants. Good idea?

since she was the one who broke up i would let her make the first contact with u. yes think she is still thinking of u in a positive way. just be patient and wait for good things to happen. sometimes when we get all stressed out the one we love is the one we often lash out at, and we are sorry later for it.

You didn't have that much time invested in the relationship, so you got lucky. Move on.
