a mouse is way better, cuz you have more control, and it's faster to get where you want and stuff.

I think that another mouse is better, because with the touchpad, it's harder to play games. Sometimes a touchpad goes out of control. With another mouse, you move around faster, it's really easy to click links, and depending on what mouse it is, it can have a comfortable feeling on your hand. If you just use your computer for Internet and documents, then a mouse is still better, because with most of them, you can scroll up and down, which can be done with some touchpads. Everything gets done quicker with a mouse.

The touchpad is really easy to use, once you get used to it you wont have a hard time, but I personally find it that my hands and fingers get tire of using the touchpad, so when am home an not going anywhere for a while i use a small mouse on my laptop.

Depends mostly of what you use it for: if you play games a lot, scroll documents or do a lot of web searching, use a mouse. If you just open the laptop to check your mail and chat with friends I think the touch-pad is OK. Be aware also that touch-pads doesn't last for ever. I heard many friends complaining about their.

People here are giving you their personal opinions. Nobody can tell you which is better. That is really a personal preference issue. You really have to try both for awhile and decide for yourself. I have used a trackball on many occasions. I find that better. Now that is three in the mix. More confusion abounds.
