Hi guys thanks for any advice before hand. My wifes 206 keeps cutting out from junctions and it is like a juddering stall and it wont restart for awhile. Any ideas what the problem could be? (and no its not because of female driving before you start!)

I have hear all sorts of wonderful possibilities but I cant afford to fix each of them :-(

****Just adding that I have seen reports about this being linked to the ECU and or the Coil Pack.****

Any shop will start with a review of your standard maintenance items including ignition and emissions subsystems. When you say "won't restart", I assume you mean that the starter motor runs ok and the engine "cranks" ok, but the engine won't fire and run. At that point, I myself would do a simple check to see if I had ignition spark at the spark plugs. If your car has conventional spark plug wires, you can use the tester type below that clips to any ground on the top of your engine. Then unplug one wire from a cylinder spark plug and reconnect it to the tester. Crank the engine and if you get a nice blue spark, you know your not losing ignition spark.
