No govt has been able to control the inflation, its the market forces like supply and demand, which decides the rate of inflation. Look at the price index for the last fifty years and you will realise this that whoever was in the govt. prices have only gone up.

The high inflation is due to high rise in food articles directly related to Mr. sharad pawar ministry, he is blackmailing congress by showing it,s importance, otherwise it was doing fine, NCP has also dissuade itself from any coalition in municipal election in mumbai to show congress that without it they cannot go alone in Maharashtra. Also this man is more interested in cricket because the game involves billions of rupees, also this man has become broker for commodity exchange team resulting the artificial increase in the commodities prices, remember ten years back when onion price sharply increased in NDA regime resulting defeat of Delhi and MP elections respectively , the Maratha belt farmers burnt millions tonnes of onions resulting sharp increase in onion prices .
So my conclusion is until Mr. Pawar is union minister of agriculture forget the drop of rate of inflation.
