Is it not time to ask other countries or maybe even the UN to help
get rid of the mafia element in the Italian government and
country?? Italy is a wonderful country, but the mafia seems to rule,
especially down south.

That is the first time I read in yahoo answers about the Italian Mafia and not the mafia from Eastern Europe!

Why would you want to delete the mafia.What have they ever done to you.Anyone who is mistreated by the mafia had it coming to him/her.The mafia doesnt mess around with any innocent people and the mafia is actually better than the corrupt government the US has.
Plus you could never delete the mafia, it is too big and spread throughout too many countries. What a dumb idea you mamaluke.

I agree, yes, the mafia must be deleted but it isn't so simple. They have try hard, haven't they?
But, anyway, I agree that this ain't enough. What can we do? We unfortunately aren't the goverment...
