should you be aiming to find the perfect person for you or do you think it's enough to find someone who is good and kind and loves you?

I look for integrity, kindness and ambition.
Find someone who meets your needs. Your needs should not only be temporary ones like kisses and dates, but needs like financial and family planning, goals, dreams, and a vision of what kind of family you want fifteen years from now.

I'd like to think I have the perfect answer to this question but in truth I only have my perfect answer. It is up to each of us to decide what we want out of life, relationships, and everything really.
If you can find happiness with someone that isn't the perfect person for you go forth and be happy. If you have to feel that electric bond with someone to be happy that go and find that too. It's all about you and what you let yourself be happy with. Good luck to you.

what are your values? No such thing as the perfect partner. Trust is an important factor. Someone who is generous with his/her feelings, and expressions of them as well as with their time and attention. Love for sure. Compatibility, shared values, a care that the other's happiness is important, someone who makes your heart beat faster and fills you with joy everytime you think of him/her. Going with just nice or good or kind is ok, but if there is no spark or sense of soul-mateness, complacency sets in and you will get bored and resentful, wishing you were with someone who fulfilled something more in you.
