How do I become / apply to be a child-minder?

I live in Leeds, and have 2 children of my own and just can't get a job with the expense of someone looking after my children for money, so i want to become a child-minder myself. Who do i ring / contact to do this? I need some information so i can apply to become a childminder. Please help......

Apply to your local Social Services. You'll need to be police checked before you can go any further. If all in order, they will advice you on training etc. Good luck!
