Fiddler on the Roof...the story is so much more moving and realistic, in a way. You can feel the emotions in the daughters who only want to marry the men they love and a father who feels that traditions should remain traditions despite of progress. Yet, in the end, love rules and new traditions are born. That is a story. West Side Story is good, but it's just a re-telling of Romeo and Juliet.
