a good one ? we live in ireland and will be getting brodband so any help would be great, we will just be using the computer for basic stuff like the internet

Dell are good and deliver to ireland ,i got two one was a laptop and another a desktop both where less than £1000 for both
check out the website and if you get lost on what to get they were very helpfull when i was ordering and i was asking all sorts of daft questions

Go for Dell all the way

And teh best way to get a bargain would be to check

as offers come up daily that are not shown in teh press and hard to find on the Dell site

We changed recently to the Apple Mac. It is a great machine without the worry of attacks by virus. You can get all the software you need without being shackled to Microsoft.

My recomendation would be an iMac...they are great...ive always used PC and had so many problems.....10months with the mac and nothing at all!
They are also alot sexier!
Also dont get windows vista....there are so many problems....just crash after crash....
