First, do you have any other fish...Possibly aggresive in the tank?
Look for ripped or torn fins.....
If not, When was the last time you cleaned your tank?
If recently, Look closely at your fish for little white spots...If there is no visual abnormalties, you may want to get your water checked.. I would not introduce another fish into your tank untill you have resolved this problem.. If it is a disease issue you will only infect new fish and waste money.... you may im me for more info..

hi there, It appears like swimbladder. in the experience that your fish has been swimming somewhat dopey it truly is maximum definately swim bladder. it truly is brought about by too a lot ammonia contained in the water. try to be appearing 30% water transformations weekly as known and treating any new water further into the aquarium with dechlorinators and chemical compounds that eliminate heavy metals at the same time with zinc, copper and lead. by no potential do more desirable than a 50% water replace. besides the undeniable fact that uncureable it might want to correctly be aided. Feed your fish some frozen peas each few days, besides the undeniable fact that peel the floor off first. This replaced into likely brought about by unfavorable upkeep, so make positive you retain on with the upkeep criteria above! sturdy luck Deren

It really depends on the type of gourami. Honestly most gourami are fairly aggressive towards each other. The male also tend to be wife beaters. Pearl gourami are fairly friendly and social for gourami.
Honestly I suspect the other gourami from bad water conditions and/or disease. Your current gourami likely sick as well. Have you tested your water's nitrate levels? Read up on fish disease, and reexamine it.

Your fish might want another fish to hang out with. Fish usually get very lonely when they don't have another fish to play with. You could also place on of those small castles for it to play with.
