ribonucleic acid

RNA means "ribonucleic acid." It differs from DNA in that it has only one half of the double helix. Usually RNA takes information from the DNA, transfers the info out of cell nucleus to ribosomes outside the nucleus. Ribosomes take the information from RNA and convert it to amino acids, then untimately proteins. I've heard some viruses run on RNA only. I'm not sure how.

RNA is ribonucleic acid. This is found in the nucleus of a cell. There are several types of RNA. there is rRNA this is ribosomal ribonucleic acid, this nucleic acid creates ribosomes, protein producing organelles. another type is mRNA, this messenger Ribonucleic acid. this one has the "instructions" for the ribosomes one what type of protein to produce. this form of nucleic acid is able to leave the nucleus.
