Nothing is worse than watching the 2nd string get to a final and then being replaced by the glamour brigade, (At any club) And often losing what the kids have achieved. I think we are just as likely to get a result with the boys brigade, as they are hungry for silverware, maybe, dare i say it, hungrier than some of the old guard. Who agrees.

Absolutely. Im a Man Utd fan .. in 93-94 Fergie played a second string side in the qualification to the final to the league cup.. then he put out the 1st team against Villa in the final ..!! Who would have played better and been a little hungrier .. the boys that got us there or the boys that chilled out and were wheeled out in the final!! And maybe Villa would have played a little less better as well!! Wenger is showing true credibilty.

The young guns deserve the chance to play in this final, after all, they got here in the first place. Wenger is a truly wonderful manager for giving them a chance to prove themselves on a large stage. However, I think this descision was made a bit easier on the fact that the first team went scoreless against Blackburn and PSV. As always though I'll be cheering for Arsenal with whoever they put on the pitch. Go Gunners!

Good luck to em. And at least they aren't too old to go crying to their mummies when chelsea beat them.

Actually even as a Chelsea fan I have respect for the arsenal manager and i won't slate the team just because, as a Chelsea fan i am meant to hate Arsenal.
Yes of course I want my team to win but I look forward to an exciting game between two teams who when they turn on the style explain the true meaning of "the beautiful game"

I agree with you I know there's a lot of people doubting us in the final against Chelski but I think are youngsters can do it they've already beaten big teams to get to the final so I think we can beat Chelsea and wipe the smile of Jose Mourinho face and prove once again that Arsenal are the best.

Wenger is a class act. He's made Arsenal in to a superb attacking team - and his teams usually play flowing, deadly, whilst highly entertaining football. And they are a serious force... rarely makes any mistakes in transfer market and his successess absolutely outweight any risks which didn't work.

Yeah... good on him for sending his Young Guns out against the Chelsea Pensioners.

And so he should they have taken the team this far, to put the first team in would be an insult and a degrading to the young stars. They will go out and win with the young stars of the future.

Absolutely - They have earned the right to play today - and who knows it might make for a more interesting and exciting final - they are hungry for success and I am sure they will do well

It would be more embarrassing for Chelski to lose to the kiddies than to the first team. I'd have Henry on the bench though. Go Gunners.

i like how LiverBird insulted you for being stupid and how human beings would not fall for it... while this wasn't meant to aim to fool every physique, it became sarcasm... besides, yeah Wenger became on no account gonna be sacked after 7 video games.
