It is because homosexuality is only a derived sexual behaviour and nature's original code of sexual conduct is that of heterosexuality , that is the sex between oppsite sexes . That is the reason why few people choose to live homosexual life .It is also true that a conservative society that is based on moral values won't approve a homosexual .

One of the great "can-of-worms" questions.... more answers and viewpoints than Carter got Little Liver Pills, but -my view in a nutshell- They don't 'choose' to live as a Gay or Lesbian person, they ARE a Gay or Lesbian person. True, some live "in the closet" for fear of personal, familial or economic pressures, but for the most part (and your question was a bit nebulous) they don't "choose" a lifestyle, that lifestyle is as natural to them as your sexual orientation is to you, or mine to me.

Because of lack of wisdom, falls fear of different gender, cowardliness, retarded quality etc.. Actually nature has created different gender for sex purpose and keep going generation. Homosexual life can't be more or better enjoyable than nature made. If, unfortunately one do not get it, prefer wrong ways to fulfil desire.

Scientists and doctors are still researching the answer to your question. I personally dont think they chose it, as I am sure they would rather not be homosexual. But due to circumstances in their life, or their geneology it chose them.

It is related to their state of mind. A kind of deprivation.
Lust gets them and they loose control on their senses and slowly get used to it and find it difficult to get out of it.
The animal in them gets better of them.

I don't know they should be marching for a cure to a sickness.
After all, that is what it is no mater how much they tell you its a choice.
We know it's biological and needs to be fixed.
