the universe will keep on expanding for another 100 billion years then due to increase in disorderness all the components of the universe will start disintegrating. The elctrons from all the atoms will fly away the protons and neutrons will move away and the universe will be completely disintegrated into particles and the vast space as we see today will again become dark, as, stars would have disintegrated into vast clouds of particulate dust. That will be the end of universe.

Forever is a long, long, long time... I don't think anything is forever.

The universe as we see it today is 45 Billion Light Years in every direction from us. That is the distance to the fartherest objects we can see anywhere around us. No
telling what is beyond that. Who cares? 45 Billion Light years is such a huge, huge distance that it really doesn't matter. There is nothing like a brick wall at the end of it.

You know it doesn't go on forever.
But I'm not sure I can explain it well... but I'll give it a shot.
Matter makes up the universe even space it's self. Without it there is nothing not even space.
If you go to the end of the universe and push forward you will in a sense create more space in the universe.
I know it sounds weird but that's how it works.
It's like we are in a bubble that can expand or contract.
But nothing is outside the bubble. Not even existence.

The universe is a finite entity once it did not exist and some time in the future it will go out of existence.

there are 2 ends to think of.
Space as we know it is expanding. Everything is moving away from the origin of the big bang. According to theory.

The other is Time. As far as my mortal mind can fathom. There is no end other than the end of chronicling time.

The universe was, is and always will be. Sounds familiar...think its something biblical.

Time -Time may not exist when there is no matter-matter may not exist when all the universe is sucked into one massive black hole.So it ends with nothing and begins with nothing. That sounds like it is way beyond our comprehesion and I believe it is so I don't worry about it.

We do not know that yet. As our detection capabilities are refined, we keep finding more galaxies beyond those that have been found.
