most of todays monitor cleaners you can buy are basically bicarbonate of soda in a spray tube
just apply 2 or 3 drops on to your monitor and use a soft cloth to clean the screen
then use a second cloth to dry the screen off,and do this once every 3 days
never use any chemicals, they can damage the screen
good luck

Use a simple glass cleaner like Windex. DO NOT spray it directly on the monitor, spray it on a clean towel, and wipe the dust and soil off of the monitor with the dampened towel.

Is it a CRT or an LCD? A CRT you can clean with just about any glass cleaner. An LCD you will want to use a soft, damp cloth or a soft cloth with a dampening of glass cleaner, but don't bear down when cleaning.
