chavs are the lowest form of life known to man
they act like some sort of prehistoric creatures, covered in acne, brandishing knives, generally clothed in some sort of fluorescant addidas clothing never seen without a baseball cap. if female - pregnant

Chav women tend to wear track bottoms, football shirts, approx' 5 gold earings in each ear of descending size. They always have longish hair which they tie up in a high ponytail. They always smoke and swear and their children are invariably called Chardonnay, Teagan Chelsea or any name that ends in y. i.e Billy, Ricky etc. The men tend to be skinny with a skinhead hairstyle and, weather permitting, wear track bottoms without a top. They have countless tattoos and, like their women, smoke and swear. Think Vicky Pollard and you are half way there!
In answer to NUTSTERS SPACE CADET what makes you think that only Essex has Chavs?

CHAVS normally have ASBOs too, they wear Adidas or lonsdale clothes and with caps or hoodies. what they do is make other peoples life's hell. burgle, steal, throw stuff at houses get pregnant at very young ages live of benefits and council houses the list is endless

Burberry is a chav favourite label. Girls will often have fake designer handbags bought from a market stall. I wouldn't say they're a menace to society.

These creatures are easily identifiable from their gormless, drugged up expressions,also they can't seem to work due to lack of intelligence, they wear imitation "burberry" baseball caps,lots of cheap tacky ornamentation, a track or shell suit is their "uniform" they are also famed for breeding lots of little bastard chavs for the state to support.

ok a chav is said to be someone who wears all burburry or white tracksuits with perfect white trainers, oh and also tucks tracksuit into socks also white,

It is also said that anyone who uses short terms eg, Anyone =ne1 and How are you = hws u etc.

Also known as Urban street ferrets. Fake is the name of the game here. Fake burberry, gucci, and gold. They trade in pills, state benefits and STD's. And often can be seen trying to look all gangsta dressed in poor fitting sports wear and walking strangely 'bandy legged' Usually fancy them-selves as 'ard nuts but when it comes to the crunch it appears they have wouldn't be able to wrestle out of a wet paper bag. But the UK loves them, always gives you a feel-good-factor about your self.

It is the term used for the extra bulky metal jewellery attached to garments worn mainly by young people. It may have originated in Chatham, Kent, UK. I do not find it offensive.
