I tried to set you straight on this 3 days ago, but it appears you are just out to insight ignorance and anger among people who are unfamiliar with the details, so I am forced to post the REAL FACTS again.

The judge TOOK THE PLEA BARGAIN OFFERED BY THE PROSECUTOR who thought the victim would be both a weak witness and would be traumatized by having to testify. If you want to "blame" someone, at least blame the right entity -- the prosecutor.

The prosecutor has the power and responsibility to decide whether or not to move forward with the case. The prosecutor in this case decided a plea bargain was more favorable than going to trial for a couple of reasons -- the victim as witness, primarily. Prosecutors are forced to make these determinations ALL THE TIME in all types of cases. They get to know their "odds of winning" fairly well. At any rate, the judge merely accepted the prosecutor's assessment of the situation (as they generally do) and agreed to the plea bargain. IF you are angry/upset with anyone, it should be the prosecutor for not having the cahones to proceed with the case if that is what you wanted. Your anger at the judge is misplaced.

It is because the criminals have more rights then the law abiding citizens in this country. You ought to know that. I AGREE with you 100% about the Judge though. If someone molested any of my family members I would want them to get probation IF I could find out where they lived. Believe me Justice WOULD BE SERVED if you know what I mean. However, I hope this NEVER happens to any of my family members, OR ANYONE ELSE'S either. We NEED to send a message to these Perverts and make it CLEAR that if they do this kind of sick act, they will be Eradicated from the face of the Earth. If the person who has it done to them cannot do what must be done, I will do it free of charge. They need to spend one night with someone in Prison around 300 lbs, and the ones in Prison deal with these Pervs very quickly, and the next day, deliver them to my doorstep, and I guarantee you that they will NEVER do it again.
