You will have to ask her. Only she can tell you. It could be something that happened a long time ago, maybe you should think back as to when it first happened. I know my relationship with my mother has been similar and I have learned that you can't allow yourself to be drawn into something elses' issues. It could be jealousy, resentment, a whole host of things.I had to let it go because it was making my life miserable. There is an old saying"you can take a horse to water, but you can't make him drink". So talk to her, but if you can't figure it out, let it go. Don't let it affect how you live your life.

Have patience and work out with your mother effectionately. There is nothing positive or negative in a relationship with mother. Probably you both mean the same, but method of expression may be wrong.

Hey u r not the only one with this problem.Ya my mom is also like that ,but I think that she is elder than me and has also experienced &crossed this stage of life so she knows whether we r telling is wrong or right. Hey after all thy r our parents so never mind it.O.K

I believe sometimes it comes from different culture background, like my mum she does that too but all the while she's trying to express herself that she meant good and its on later on then i finally understand.. i hope u get her point soon just like me! cheers...

Maybe it is because you dont talk respectful, or you criticize her allot. Speak it out with her.
